What is VinylBleu?
Founded in 2017, VinylBleu grew out of the underground scene and an independent shop in the south of France, "La Cave à Disque", which became an e-commerce store dedicated to vinyl and electronic music.
We are also a techno & hardtek label. Our eclectic love of electronic music - alongside styles like pop, rock, funk and disco that influenced techno - drives us to produce vinyl records with very diverse identities. This deliberate choice, sometimes seen as inconsistent, is for us a real strength and part of our DNA: from techno and hard techno to more radical sounds like tekno and hardtek.
Through our vinyl and digital releases, we support both underground producers and more accessible or mainstream artists, always with a strong focus on musical identity.
Over the years, a real community has built up around the project. VinylBleu now has over 32,000 followers on Facebook and more than 6,000 on YouTube and SoundCloud, with millions of plays, videos, previews and shares around vinyl and digital releases.
Through our music blog, we highlight the richness of electronic music, the club and festival scene: interviews, features, videos, news, mixes and live sets around free party, rave and underground movements, as well as techno club culture.

Techno: born in Detroit in the 80s, hypnotic, 120-135 BPM. The music of the club, of the long night.
Hard techno: techno with its foot to the floor. 140-160 BPM, heavy distorted kicks, frontal energy. Klangkuenstler, Sara Landry, I Hate Models.
Hardtek: born in French free parties, not clubs. 160-200 BPM, fat kick bass, freetekno underground culture. Spiral Tribe, Heretik System.
In 2025-2026, the boundaries are shifting. The best producers draw from all three.
