Our Hardtek & Tribe Vinyl Selection
This is THE music of free parties. It's increasingly found at festivals. Unlike hardcore, it tends to be more cheerful and joyful, a bridge between techno and hardcore. French-speaking artists are pioneers in this field: the French scene gave birth to diverse currents such as tribe mentale, hardfloor, freetekno and raggatek. With a BPM oscillating around 160 to 180, it's the ideal sound for dancing.
Hardtek, a pillar of the electronic music scene
At first glance, you might think all the sounds are the same: a shared BPM, samples, mixes and remixes. But that would overlook the richness of the subgenres that make up this family, from acid and acidcore to the more hypnotic sounds of mental, via hardfloor and tekno. Freetekno, the culture born in sound systems and teknivals, remains at the heart of our selection. And above all, the talent of the artists who embody it: Fky, Mr. Gasmask, Ling Ling, Leʞs, UZI and so many others. Don't miss the records that will make you sweat until dawn.
