Ben aka Tetrips - Hardtek & Tribe Artist

Tetrips, real first name Benjamin, is a French artist and producer from the hardtek and tribe scene. Active since the late 90s, he's one of those pioneers who shaped the sound of French free parties at the turn of the 2000s.

Passionate about synthesizers since age 12 - Roland E16, Atari ST, Nord Modular, drum machines, he developed a personal sound universe rooted in sound system and teknivals culture. In 2000, he definitively focused on hardtek and tribe, with an ear for hardcore.

He joined the crew Les Interros, played throughout France and left his mark with a live set recorded in 2001-2002, which would become one of the most legendary live sets of the French scene.

Live Dans L'Sud De Paris - The live set that changed everything

Recorded on cassettes then burned onto thousands of CDs that circulated throughout the free party community, Live Dans L'Sud De Paris became an absolute reference of the French hardtek scene. In 2023, the Tekno Repress Unit which Vinylbleu was part of, finally pressed this live set on vinyl: 1,100 copies in Black Edition gatefold, remastered, sold out in days.

In 2025, a second and final edition was released on Providance Recordz label: a double 12" picture disc Zoetrope, 1,000 numbered copies, new mastering by Flo Kastet. A rare collector's piece, now only found on Discogs and Leboncoin.
