Developed since the first lockdown and released during the second one in France, Madora is moving beyond the Covid-19 phenomenon. With its debut EP Madora 10 Rave released on Rave Alert and featured by Hate—no less.
Madora is Arnaud and Alexandre, a French techno DJ and producer duo hailing from Rennes, in Ille-et-Vilaine (35). Two fervent Bretons who share a vivid and enthusiastic passion for electronic music, born at a very young age. It was while roaming rave grounds, festivals, and other high-energy electronic events that they met and decided to combine their shared musical passions and talents to create Madora. Their guiding principles? Hardstyle, industrial, and acid techno, for a journey both futuristic and retro toward Neorave. Fiery, hypnotizing dances, rhythmic vocals, and clean yet crazy machine sounds; we travel through Eastern Europe for truly beautiful parties.
A balanced debut EP that you can listen to over and over without getting tired. It perfectly captures the anticipation of arriving at a rave and the auditory and visual intensity conveyed by such a dynamically performed show. You can clearly see the complementarity between the two artists: one loves adding those electronic torpedoes that send us flying toward acid lines and accelerated machine sounds. The other reorganizes everything and adds a more technical techno and industrial touch for a breathtaking result. Enjoy the listen!
