Okupe: The Sound of Free Party from Marseille

Founded in the late 90s, Okupe is one of the most influential labels in the French Hardtek and Tribe scene. A true pillar of the Freetekno movement, the label immortalized the sound of teknivals by pressing it on vinyl, becoming an absolute reference for an entire generation of teufeurs.

In 1993, the OQP collective met SPIRAL TRIBE who pushed them to create their own sound system, bringing a British touch to French know-how. They then launched the first free parties in southern France. The following year, equipped with a bus and their sound system, they hit the road to make Europe vibrate.
